Cimarron front man Luis Mario Ochoa was born and raised in Cuba where he studied classical music at Havana's most renowned conservatories. He moved to Canada in 1990, where he combined his love for Cuban music with his passion for classic North American jazz. In Cimarron, he has brought together Toronto's finest ex-pat. jazz players from all over Latin America . His inspirations include Cesar Portilla and Jose Antonio Mendez as well as Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald. Get ready to move your hips and mambo the night away!
