This fabulous, eleven-piece, collective of Detroit's most outstanding female vocalists, all accomplished soloists in their own right, is the brainchild of Grammy nominee Kate Hart. With so much incredible talent on stage, a rockin' blues show by The Detroit Women is a sight to behold. With each of the seven singers soloing, while the others sing backup, the combination of harmony and individual talent gives everyone a chance to shine and take pride in their mutual "sassitude." Including members of Bob Seger's original Silver Bullet band and other Detroit luminaries, they've been nominated for no less than 28 awards in the last 3 years. The Detroit Metro Times names them among the most influential regional artists of the last 100 years...and when you're talking about Mo'Town, that's sayin' somethin'!
