Nick Earle and Joe Coffin are two terrific emerging blues artists from St. John’s, Newfoundland. As a duo, Earle and Coffin released debut album Live at The Citadel House in 2016. That record earned them a place in the national spotlight, as well as a Canadian Folk Music Award and nominations at the MusicNL and East Coast Music Awards. Adopting a distinctive style that is well beyond their years, Earle and Coffin draw inspiration from blues greats like Robert Johnson, Eric Clapton and Muddy Waters. Rich soulful vocals and exceptional guitar playing are just two of the descriptors that come to mind when watching these two, who have already shared the stage with many of the region’s top roots and blues musicians. Releasing their sophomore effort Wood Wire Blood and Bone this February, Earle and Coffin have shared a wealth of blues/rock inspired originals that will surely satisfy your taste!
