As New Brunswick’s top musical export, Matt Andersen has been making a splash on the international stage since winning the 2010 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, becoming the first Canadian to ever hold the title. His larger than life showmanship has been earning him a fervent and steadfast audience across the map with a non-stop touring schedule, including the legendary rhythm and blues cruise in January. Matt’s sprawling blues, roots and rock musical hybrid, with his scorching and soulful voice has cemented him as one of Canada’s finest and most in-demand blues musicians. This year he won two Maple Blues Awards for Entertainer and Acoustic Act of the Year, and was nominated for four ECMAs, of which he won Male Solo Recording and Blues Recording of the Year. No matter Matt’s success, he hasn’t forgotten his roots, so of course he’ll come home for another incredible show where he’ll leave it all on the Harvest stage!
