Harvest Announces Free Stage Performances

The Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival announced today the artists playing on the six free public stages during the Festival, including two new free stages – one for jazz and one for blues.

International headliners announced in the free programming are the Blues Caravan’s Girls with Guitars, New Orleans’ Rebirth Brass Band, Delta bluesman Super Chikan and the winner of Harvest’s first-ever UK Battle of the Blues, 24 Pesos. Also featured on the free stage line up are Quebec superstar Florence K and Canadian roots icons Rick Fines & Suzie Vinnick.

Harvest Announces Competitors in International Blues Challenge Finals

The Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival announced today the four New Brunswick blues acts that will battle it out on stage to represent the Festival at the 2012 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN.

Double Dutch Hutch, George Street Blues Project, J-C Arsenault & Danny Robichaud, and Ross Neilsen have been selected as the four finalists who will compete in Memphis Bound: The IBC Finals on Saturday, September 17 at 2pm in the Galaxie Barracks Tent.

Catch a ride with the free NB Liquor Harvest Park & Ride

Drop your car; catch a ride.

The Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival announced today that the NB Liquor Harvest Park and Ride will run again this year, offering patrons safe and green transport to and from the heart of the Festival grounds.

This free transportation includes runs to several south side hotels, university campus and the FREX.
