Green Musicians
Welcome to the 20th Annual Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival! As a performing artist for the 2010 Festival, we hope you enjoy your time in our beautiful and historic city. The Festival is taking steps to be green and more environmentally friendly. To help us in our efforts, check out the tips below to be part of the bigger, greener picture.
- While taking in the Festival, please reuse your cup when enjoying a beverage.
- Bring a reusable water bottle on stage; try to avoid using plastic water bottles.
- Check out Pickup Pal, “a global eco-friendly transportation revolution that connects drivers and passengers” to help reduce your carbon footprint.
- If you drive to Fredericton, park your car when you get here! We have musician shuttles and the Blues Bus to get you around.
- Harvest is already offsetting our carbon footprint but if you are feeling inclined and want to see about offsetting even more, compare Carbon Offsetting companies; choose the one that best suits you.
- When checking out our city, please be conscious and do not idle.
