Bruce Cockburn

TD Stage at The Playhouse

One of Canada’s finest artists makes his long awaited Harvest debut! Bruce Cockburn has enjoyed an illustrious career shaped by politics, spirituality and musical diversity. His remarkable journey has seen him embrace folk, jazz, rock and worldbeat styles, while his guitar playing, both acoustic and electric, has placed him in the company of the world’s top instrumentalists. For his many achievements, the Ottawa-born artist has been honoured with twelve Junos and a Governor General’s Award, been inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and made an Officer of the Order of Canada. This national icon will finally make a long overdue trek to Harvest, with an opening set from Terra Lightfoot. No stranger to the big stage, Lightfoot played to over twenty five thousand people last year alone, on bills with titans like Emmylou Harris, Ron Sexsmith, Blue Rodeo, Randy Bachman and Grace Potter.
