HARVEST 2023 ACCESSIBILITY GUIDE
Harvest is dedicated to fostering community amongst all festival patrons, artists, volunteers, staff, sponsors and Board Members. Harvest is committed to delivering a festive and welcoming experience for people of every ability, age, colour, gender, gender identity and expression, income level, language, physical appearance, place of origin, race, religion, and sexual orientation. Everyone has the right to feel safe and free from harm, and feel a sense of belonging at Harvest.

ACCESSIBLE DROP-OFF

There is an accessible drop-off location at the road closure at Queen St. and York St. intersection. To access the drop-off location, drive up to the road closure gate on King St. and York St. where you will be met by security. Inform security that you require the accessible drop-off location, and they will let you in! 

Please note: there is no parking at Harvest. This is a drop-off location only. After being dropped off, the driver of the vehicle will need to find alternate parking. There is plenty of space and seating near the drop-off to wait for your driver, and there will be an Accessibility Attendant volunteer at this location between 5-10pm. 

BLUES TENT ACCESSIBLE VIEWING AREA

There is an accessible viewing area located near the stage at the Blues Tent. To access this area, please let admissions know. There will be an Accessibility Attendant volunteer who is available should you like guidance to this area. You’re welcome to bring your own seating if needed. You may also be accompanied by a support person.

TRANSPORTATION

Accessible transit is now available on all Fredericton City buses. For more information, please head over to the Fredericton Transit website. ANBL Safe Ride details will be announced closer to the festival. 

SUPPORT PERSONS/SERVICE ANIMALS

Persons with disabilities may have a support person accompany them to shows, free of charge. Your support person will not require a ticket at the Blues Tent events. To arrange a ticket for a support person at the Playhouse shows, please call our office at 506-454-2583 or send an email to info@harvestmusicfest.ca. While pets are not permitted at Harvest, we welcome service animals.
